If you love watching birds, the South Pacific of Costa Rica is the best place because it hosts half of the species you can see across the country. Besides, it is the home of a great variety of endemic species.
We offer a three-hour tour as well as full-day one.
The three-hour tour starts at 5:30AM and ends at 9:30AM. We advise you to take it at Dos Brazos de Río Tigre since it is deemed one of the best places to watch birds in the area. There are open areas, primary and secondary forests that host a great number of the endemic species of the southern part of the country.
Dos Brazos de Río Tigre is just 12 k away from Puerto Jimenez, some 20 minutes by car.
For the full-day tour (5:30AM – 11:30AM) we recommend a combination of three places (Dos Brazos de Rio Tigre, Rincon de Osa and the beach area at El Ñeque or Sandalo) to seize the opportunity to watch as many species as possible.
